Reva Golaris is a Helios shifter who has lost everything. After her mother and two of her fathers were killed in a brutal attack on New Vega, she has no time to grieve. Her need to avenge their deaths drives her into a killing rage that no one can stop. Not even the one male she has dreamed of giving her heart to…the brother of her enemy.

For years, Lord Malik Rego never thought he would find the one female he wanted to claim as his own, until he met Reva Golaris. The fierce beauty captivated him, but everything changed when he discovered his sister, Quilla, is behind a criminal empire. Malik will bear the shame of his sister’s crimes for all time, but it is impossible to ask for Reva to do the same.

With their future in peril, Malik will have to push Reva away to save her. However, she has other plans that don’t include surrender. During a race across the galaxy, sacrifices will be made, and bonds will be broken. Will their love be strong enough to conquer the stain of betrayal, or will their savage natures be more than they can control?

Revenge is sweet, but vengeance is primal.

EXCERPT

Malik made his way down to the training area on one of the lower levels, and he heard the sound of fists hitting flesh, and the grunts and groans that came from people in combat. Unsure of what he was going to do, he took a deep breath before entering the room.

Then he thought his head was going to explode.

Reva was fighting Darius and Rob Perez, wearing nothing but a sports bra and shorts that were so tiny they barely covered her privates. Her hair was pulled back with a leather strap, and each of them was wearing gel sparring gloves to soften the blows, but that wasn’t helping much as she beat on two males that wouldn’t hit her back. Malik barely saw Amari sitting on a stack of mats, swinging one of her legs back and forth as she watched the fight. Fury surged through him as he saw both Matt and Lazio watching her with eyes glazed with appreciation.

He wanted to punch each male in the face, then he noted Reva doing just that to Darius with her gloved fist. A hard kick to Rob’s stomach sent him sprawling, and he gasped for air on the ground as Darius threw her over his shoulder, then touched a hand to his bleeding nose. While he was distracted, she used her legs to bring him down with her, then flipped back onto her feet.

Rob jumped back up to his feet, and when they both squared off again, Reva met Rob with a furious volley of kicks and punches, moving faster he did. Even enhanced, the elite had a difficult time matching the natural strength and speed of a Helios. It was a beautiful thing watching Reva in motion. Her grace and skill was like a deadly dance, and he couldn’t take his eyes off her. Though, this wasn’t a normal sparring session.

He could see a fury in her eyes, but he also saw an emptiness there that worried him. As he watched her battle the two larger males, he finally understood what Kahla had been trying to tell him. Reva’s guilt and rage were living, breathing entities inside of her, and if she didn’t stop blaming herself, it was going to consume her. He could see it in the desperate way she fought, as if Darius and Rob were demons she needed to conquer.

He’d wanted to avoid her, to stop being around her, but it had been the right course of action. He could see that now. His own guilt had been blinding him. Putting an end to their relationship wasn’t what was best for her…or him. No, it would just make both of them suffer more. Reva Golaris was his only chance of salvation. She could save him, and in return he would devote his life to giving her everything she’d ever wanted.

And he would love her until he took his very last breath.

Malik was aware of Matt walking up beside him, but he didn’t take his eyes off the combatants on the mats. They both winced as Reva hit Darius with a left cross. Malik knew that Darius would never hurt a female, but he was having a difficult time holding back while stopping her from taking his head off. When Rob attacked again, Darius took the opportunity to wrap an arm around Reva’s neck from behind.

“Stop.” The command was out before Malik could hold it back. He really didn’t like seeing his brother touching his female. In fact, it made him want to rip Darius’ arm off. His warrior immediately let go of Reva and took a few steps back out of her reach. Rob glanced at him, then mirrored his motion.

Reva swung her head around to glare at him. “I wasn’t done with them.”

“Yes, you are. If you want to continue fighting, you can fight me.” Malik stepped forward onto the mats as Darius and Rob walked off. Reva was breathing hard, her chest heaving, and he had to force himself not to look down at her breasts.

Her amber eyes narrowed, and she hissed…actually hissed at him. For some strange reason, it made him want to laugh or take her down to the floor so he could make love to her. Energy was coming off her in waves, and he felt it growing stronger the closer he got. When he was standing in front of her, he felt his energy connect with her, and called himself a fool for almost giving up on what they could have together.

But he was done holding back now.

Her fist flew at his face with no warning, but he slapped her arm away and moved out of the way. Defense was not his usual play, since he usually liked to be on the attack, but he had enough battle experience to know how to fight without hurting her.

“What are you doing? Fight back, damn you,” she growled. “Fight me!”

“That’s not going to help you. If you need to fight, we can do this, but I’m not going to hurt you. I won’t hurt you, Reva. Ever.”

She attacked with new fervor, her hands jabbed, and her legs kicked at any open spots she could find.

After several minutes, he wrapped his arms around her, one around her waist, and another holding onto her neck, her back to his front. They were both panting for breath, but not just from exertion now. Fighting with her was exhilarating, and he wasn’t the only one who felt it. He could sense it, read it in her energy, and he knew she wanted him as much as he wanted her.

“Is this really making you feel better, helicca?” he whispered. “You’re tired and need to rest. You have to stop this.”

“What do you care?” she hissed. “You’re just after an energy boost.”

“That’s insulting to both of us,” he snapped. “I want more than just energy from you.”

“What do you want, then?”

“You. All of you.”

~ New Release - Dante's Angel ~

DANTE'S ANGEL
Book #3 of the Breakers' Bad Boys Series

Zoe Lang grew up as a musical prodigy whose life was not her own. She was told when to eat, when to sleep, and even who to marry, until she found the courage to escape the confines of her gilded cage. But freedom came with a price that almost cost her everything. Finding sanctuary in the small town of Breakers, Zoe is content with her new life. The only thing disrupting her happiness is Dante Fox, a dark and dangerous bad boy who plays by his own rules…

A former Army Ranger, Dante Fox is plagued by nightmares of his time overseas. He struggles to combat the darkness within him, but when he meets Zoe Lang, his entire world shifts. When Zoe’s past comes back to haunt her, he will do everything in his power to keep her safe. Can two tortured souls find peace together, or will Dante’s angel only be his in dreams?

EXCERPT

Zoe felt the world melting around her.

Her body was on fire as Dante’s lips took hers in a kiss so hot, she wondered how she didn’t just burst into flames. She’d been fighting the crazy attraction she had for him for months, trying to avoid the explosive chemistry she knew shimmered between them.

Now, all her defenses shattered like brittle glass with one little kiss.

The feel of Dante’s hard body pressed against hers had a flood of desire shooting straight through her, making her body quiver with excitement. She could feel the liquid heat pooling between her thighs, shocking her with how quickly she responded to him.

He used her gasp of shock to shove his tongue deep, tasting and temping her until her only reaction was to give in to him. Zoe’s mind went blank as she answered the urgency of his kiss with her own. Pleasure pulsed through her, filling her with the need to give him all of her, and to take all he offered in return.

Holy fucking shit, the man knew how to kiss.

The taste of him was like an addiction. Wild. Wicked. She’d known he would be, which was why she’d tried so hard to keep her distance. Dark and dangerous, Dante Fox was a man who commanded attention without asking. And now he took her under, deep into a pleasure she wasn’t sure she’d ever recover from.

Pulling back, he broke the kiss, allowing her a glimpse into those clear, light-blue eyes of his. Eyes so pale they almost seemed unreal. But now, his icy gaze was filled with heat, with a hunger so intense that it made her heart thunder in her chest.

“Fucking hell. I want you, Zoe.”

The sound of his deep, rough voice made her tremble. It always did. Usually, she was able to hide her reaction to him, but right now she couldn’t stop the shiver that wracked her body, and she knew he felt it. “Dante, wait—”

His nostrils flared and his eyes fired at her weak protest. “No.”

When he moved to kiss her again, she lifted her hands to hold him off, then glanced down at the violin and bow in her hands. She blinked as if she’d never seen them before. Damn it, she needed to focus. Forcing her brain to function again, she gasped. The instrument she held was a Stradivarius violin, probably one of the most well-known, expensive instruments in the world. Some sanity sparked back and had her trying to step away from him.

It didn’t work.

“We have to—”

“Put it down.”

When she simply looked at him in confusion, he took the violin and bow from her, setting it on the table next to the case. Wincing, she made a moved toward the table to put the instrument away properly, but Dante got in her way.

A small squeak of surprise escaped her as he took hold of her hips and lifted her, carrying her a few steps to the pool table where he sat her down on the edge. He pushed her thighs apart so he could stand between them. When he pressed against her, she could feel the hard column of his erection rubbing against her core, and barely held back a moan.

Damn him. How the hell could she resist him if he kept pushing her like this?

The temptation to give in was overwhelming. An edge of panic mingled with pure feminine appreciation as he unzipped his hoodie and roughly jerked it off, throwing it to the floor. Seeing the black t-shirt stretched taut over his hard body, she found herself reaching out before she could think. Zoe placed a hand on his chest, feeling muscles flex beneath her palm and the frantic beating of his heart. She knew it was useless trying to hold him back, but she had to, for both their sakes. “Dante, we can’t—”

“Hell, yes, we can,” he countered, his voice harsh with lust. “And we will.”

Another protest was cut off as his mouth took hers again. Stars burst behind her eyes. His taste. God, his taste was glorious. Spicy, and utterly sinful. His hand wound into her hair, holding her still as he plundered, stroking his tongue deep over and over again. Unable to help herself, she kissed him back, hands stroking up and down the hard muscles of his back, her legs wrapping around his waist as her traitorous body pulled him closer.

Just a minute, she told herself.

She could let go for one minute and simply enjoy.

~ Guest: Kali Argent - Shadow Soldier ~

I'm so excited to present the first book in the Revenant Series -- SHADOW SOLDIER! Happy Reading!

Available now from:

When the Purge nearly wiped out humanity and gave rise to the Allied Races Coalition, Roux Jennings refused to become a paranormal’s new pet. Forced into hiding, she remains constantly on the move, never staying in one place for too long. It’s a harsh existence filled with too many dangers and not enough food, but at least she’s free.

Coalition Captain Deke Collins is tasked with protecting the citizens of Trinity Grove—both human and paranormal alike. Presenting the mask of a loyal and dutiful soldier isn’t always easy, but it’s a necessary evil. If anyone discovers he’s the leader of a group of rebels secretly known as the Revenant, he won’t live to see the next sunrise.

When circumstances force him into the path of a beautiful and tenacious female, he’s immediately drawn to the human. Dragging Roux into his world may put her in more danger than even he realizes, but it’s a risk he must take to protect her.

In a reality where paranormals rule and humans are nearly extinct, lines are drawn, sides are chosen, and a war for freedom rages in secret.

CHAPTER ONE TEASER

Nevah shrugged and dropped the subject. “After we get supplies, we really need to move on.”

“That’s the plan.” Roux glanced sideways at her comrade. “We never stay in one place for too long, and we don’t stick around after a raid.”

Nevah shook her head. “That’s not what I mean. We need to get as far away from this place as possible, away from Trinity Grove.”

“What’s in Trinity Grove? Other than a horde of vampires, that is.”

“Not just vampires, but all kinds of Gemini.”

The Gemini. That was what everyone called them—the monsters with two faces, with dual natures. Vampires, werewolves, shapeshifters, and whatever other strange supernatural creatures prowled the night. Normally, most looked no different than her or any other human, but their dark essence always lurked just beneath the surface. Roux didn’t know where the term had originated, but she definitely found it fitting.

After the Purge, the Gemini had been all too eager to come out of hiding. With so few humans left to oppose them, they’d quickly risen to power, forming the Allied Races Coalition. By the end of the year, they’d divided North America into territories—cities and surrounding areas governed by prominent paranormal families—and nothing had been the same since.

Trinity Grove resided in vampire-controlled territory, but beyond that, Roux didn’t know much about the town or the family that ruled it.

“I still don’t get it,” she admitted. “Gemini are everywhere, what makes this place so different?”

“They call it the Devil’s Den,” Nevah answered after a long pause, her voice quieter, more subdued. “It’s controlled by the Diavolos family. Very old, very powerful, and very deadly. The rumor is their roots go all the way back to the amphitheaters of Rome.”

“Like gladiators?” Roux snorted and shook her head. “Are you serious?”

Nevah didn’t return her smile. “Exactly like gladiators. They’re not strangers to carnage, Roux, and they won’t be merciful if they catch us.”

As far as Roux could tell, they sounded no different than any other member of the Coalition, but she didn’t argue. The trees had started to thin, their branches trimmed back from the two-lane highway as houses and businesses appeared on the side of the road. Just ahead, past a two-story farmhouse with blue siding and white shutters, the grocer stood illuminated by a pair of yellow streetlamps.

Bright paint decorated the glowing, storefront windows in a summer mural of colorful flowers and a corny depiction of a smiling sun. A shingled awning stretched over a wooden porch that wrapped around the sides of the small store, and by all appearances, the grocer had once been someone’s home.

As usual, Cade went first, motioning for everyone to stay put until he’d crossed the highway and ducked into the shadows at the corner of the building. Denny followed next, moving quicker than his fragile appearance would suggest he could. Once Greg and Brody had joined them, Nevah stepped out of the tree line, her gaze cautious and alert as she started across the street.

Roux crouched in the bushes, sliding her utility knife from its sheath as she listened for Nevah’s footsteps to fade. The humidity of the day paired with the falling temperatures of the night produced a hazy fog that covered the ground and swirled around her feet. A light mist had begun to fall, and while it wouldn’t wash away the weeks of dirt and grime, Roux closed her eyes, allowing herself a moment to enjoy the cool water against her skin.

The crunch of gravel reached her ears, meaning Nevah had reached the grocer’s parking lot. Rising from her position, Roux kept low, checking her surroundings once again before stepping around the neatly trimmed hedge. She’d just stepped across the white line on the edge of the asphalt when a scream pierced the air.

Denny.

A lump formed in her throat as her heart pounded a hard rhythm against her sternum. Torn between helping her group and saving her own ass, Roux stood frozen, one foot still planted on the street. She’d never proclaimed to be brave, and it wasn’t as though she could do anything useful. More than likely, she’d only end up dead, or worse…captured. Better to be dead than what awaited her in the city.

Against her better judgment and all of her instincts, Roux released the breath she’d been holding and darted across the highway. Instead of a direct route to the grocer, however, she veered to the left, slipping into the darkness cast along the side of the farmhouse. Another cry rose up on the wind, this one deeper, more guttural, and Roux instantly recognized it as Cade’s.

A line of peach trees separated the residential home from the small store, its low-hanging branches creating a perfect swath of shadows. Gathering her courage, Roux pushed away from the side of the house and hurried across the sodden grass to the nearest tree, just as the rain began to fall in earnest. With her back pressed against the wide trunk, she paused, fighting to control her rapid breathing.

“Your plan is what, exactly?” a low, masculine voice asked from somewhere in the darkness to her right. “Rescue your friends armed with a single knife and determination?”

EXCERPT

“Cami? Cami, look at me. Open your eyes and look at me.”

Warm hands cradled her face, bringing some semblance of reality back to her. Prying her lids open, she stared up at Tariq through blurry eyes and moaned. Everything hurt. Her heart pounded and her temples throbbed, making her lightheaded, and each breath came in short, shallow pants until her stomach cramped with nausea.

“Cami, focus,” Tariq ordered. “Look right here at me, only me.” He stroked her cheeks with his fingertips and petted her hair. “That’s it, angel. Deep breath. Good,” he praised when she complied. “Again. One more.”

Staring into his amber eyes, Cami breathed in through her nose and out through her mouth, focusing solely on his voice. “Keep talking, please.”

“I’m not going to let anything happen to you, remember?”

Then he did the most remarkable thing. Tariq pressed his palm to the side of her neck, using his thumb under her chin to tilt her face up, and kissed her. When their lips met, everything in her head melted away, dissolving into a peace she hadn’t known in years.

Her pulse accelerated once more, for a completely different reason this time, and Cami pressed closer, opening for him with a quiet whimper. The first glide of his tongue against hers sent a shiver down her spine, and the scrape of his fangs against her lower lip produced a lusty moan she didn’t know herself capable of making.

“That’s better,” Tariq whispered against the corner of her mouth. “You’re okay now.”

“Better than okay.” Cami tried to sit up, but stopped when Tariq closed his eyes and groaned. Only then did she realize they were sitting in the middle of the hallway with her perched in Tariq’s lap. “How did I get here?”

“I thought you were having a seizure or something, so I carried you out of the atrium.” He dropped his head back against the wall and groaned again. “Stop moving.”

“Oh.” Cami held perfectly still. “Did I hurt you?”

In response, he tucked her head under his chin and laughed. “No, angel, you didn’t hurt me.”

A hard bulge behind his zipper dug into her backside, alerting her to the problem. Pushing away from his chest, Cami peeked up at him through her lashes, realization finally dawning. “Oops, sorry.”

“Don’t apologize.” Sliding his arms around her midsection and behind her knees, Tariq stood, lifting her as easily as if she weighed nothing. “You need rest.”

“I’m feeling better now.” The pain in her head had vanished, and only a warm tingle in her belly—remnants of their kiss—remained. “Why did you kiss me?”

Though he looked straight ahead, Cami didn’t miss the faint smile or the way his voice gentled when he repeated his earlier assessment. “You talk too much.”

Resting her head on his shoulder, Cami sighed in contentment. “It only seems that way because you barely talk at all. I’ll try to be less vocal, though.”

Tariq pressed his lips to the top of her head as a satisfied rumbled vibrated his chest. “Don’t. I’ll get used to it.”

Now, I turn the spotlight on my smart and sexy series...

The Breakers’ Bad Boys series is a combination of several things that I love…bad boys, military men, MMA fighters, bikers, and best of all – spicy hot romance! While my IAD series deals with military men and women working for a covert agency, I wanted to take a different stance for the BBB series. Breakers is a town that caters to men and women who have just come home after leaving the service, and because of that, I wanted to show what happens when they try to acclimate back into “normal” life. The men of Breakers may be bad boys, but they all still have integrity and honor…just like heroes should.

I like to think of the town of Breakers as it’s very own character of this series. It’s not just a location for me. Breakers has personality, it has purpose, and above all, it has heart.

Like any interesting town, the people add to the essence of the place. Each book of this series is not just about two people. It is also about how those people fit into the town and how they interact with their friends and family. I want readers to feel as if they know the town and the people of my series, and feel like they are visiting old friends each time they read one of my books.

FIGHT HARD

The Fight Hard Gym and Rehabilitation Center is owned by bad boy Jared "Hammer" Caufield, ex-Army Ranger and former MMA fighter. He founded the gym to continue his love of the sport, even though he no longer competes, and to also give athletes and military personnel somewhere safe to come and heal their injuries.

Once you walk through the doors of Fight Hard, you can usually find hard-bodied men working out on the equipment, on the mats, or in the ring. But don't let that fool you. Fight Hard also offers a Girl Fight class that teaches the women of Breakers how to kick ass!

SINFULLY SWEET BAKERY

Across the street from Fight Hard is the Sinfully Sweet Bakery, owned by Kalista Redford (soon to be Kali Caufield). Kali works there with her two assistants, Becca Nuria and Anna Cortez, along with some part-time workers that included Anna's nephew, Nate. Its a great place to nibble on some sweets while watching the eye candy going in and out of the gym!

For those of you who have read Nyght's Eve and wondered what the hell a Cronut is...here is a pic!

INK THIS

A few doors down from Sinfully Sweet is Ink This, the tattoo parlor owned by Nikita Nuria. Stop on by if you wanna get some ink, but just a friendly warning - a woman whose past is shrouded in mystery, Nikita isn't the most friendly resident of Breakers.

THE FOX HOLE

Take a walk down the street if you feel like grabbing a drink and having some fun. Don't mind all the bikes parked out in front. It may be a biker bar, but it's a safe place to visit...the Fox men make sure of that. Most of the men and women working there are former military and they make sure everyone stays in line...although they sometimes enjoy a good bar brawl.

Owner and ex-Army Ranger Dante Fox may think he runs the place now that his father, Malcolm, has retired, but we all know that manger, Zoe Lang is the one who really keeps things running smoothly. Stop in for a drink and some food, and chances are you will find some entertainment as well, whether it be shooting some pool, playing some darts, dancing or just watching Dante and Zoe argue!

THE BOARDING HOUSE

If you feel like going for a drive, you can head out of town and take a few back roads to the Beaumont Estate. The first building you will see is the Beaumont Boarding House. Created as a haven for men and women to rest and relax after leaving the military, it is also a place where people can stay while they are doing their rehab at Fight Hard. The caretaker on site is Hunter Savante, although I don't think you want to bother him unless you really need to...

THE POND

Further down the path, you will see the pond that is located in the center of the new buildings constructed on the Beaumont estate. The pond is a beautiful place, with a path winding around it that people can run on, or workers from the rescue center can take the dogs for walks.

THE NEW BEAUMONT MANOR

On the other side of the pond is the house that Evie Beaumont lives in with her two cousins, Francesca and Beckett Savante. Evie lives in the middle section of the house with Daryk "Dare" Nyght, and Francesca has the right wing of the house to herself, while Beckett resides in the left wing.

BEAUMONT RESCUE CENTER

The red barn-like structure that is home to the Beaumont Rescue Center is a sanctuary for animals that have been abused and abandoned. Founded by Evelyn Beaumont, she strives to create a safe environment for these animals to heal until she and the workers can find each animal a new home. The Beaumont Rescue Center is a family run business, and the facilities include a veterinarian's office that is run by Evie's cousin, Beckett Savante.

Again, for those of you who have read Nyght's Eve, here is a pic of Hero, the little Boxer that Dare and Evie rescue!
